5 Drugstore Favourites

Hi, recently I’ve been loving drugstore makeup personally, I think most of the makeup from the drugstore is just as good as high-end products. Makeup Revolution is my favourite drugstore brand, because of the unbelievable price for the quality you get. The Conceal and Define foundation has been my go-to along with the concealer. The foundation has a demi-matte finish, I love this because I have oily skin and it’s not too dewy and not too matte and drying so, it lets my skin’s natural glow shine through. The concealer has maximum coverage and blends like a dream! It’s my go-to multi-tasking concealer for under eyes and blemishes. The Conceal and Define corrector in the shade Banana is what I’ve been using a lot recently to help correct dark circles and brighten my under eyes, under my concealer. It makes a huge difference.

Makeup Revolution X Sophx palette is so pigmented you wouldn’t think it was from the drugstore. (Swatches left-to-right) Everyday, Running Late, Infinity, Cheesecake, Cookie Dough, Dreams, Vitamin C, Sweet N Sour and Twenty One. Infinity is a metallic silver that’s super pretty for halo or cut crease looks. Twenty One is also a stand out shade and very pigmented and Vitamin C is a perfect yellow shade that works well for the crease or just by itself.

(left-to-right) Romance, Enchanted, Lakes, Brownies, Chocolate Orange, Mulled Wine, LA Sun, Aurora and Reputation. My favourite from these swatches is Aurora, it’s the perfect olive/green metallic. Also, Romance and Mulled Wine are perfect for Autumn/ Winter.

Lastly, Makeup Revolution Jelly Highlighter in the shade Monumental is the first jelly highlighter I have tried. It’s fair to say I love it! I used this by itself to give a glass-like finish which is stunning and under powder highlighter to make it have an extra pop. Definitely going to try more jelly textured highlighters!
