April Top 5 Favourites

Hi

It’s officially May! I know what you’re thinking, this year is flying in (it’s actually scary how fast), so today I have my top five favourites from the past month as usual, basically all beauty products. Here’s my favourites from April…

I’ll start off with a hair favourite, the Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil which is a primer you can use before you blow-dry, straighten or curl your hair. I even use this when I’m not using heat as it helps tame my frizzy hair. This really helps to make your hair smooth and shiny but also protected from heat damage and UV damage! I spray two-three pumps in my hands and massage it through my hair before I use heat or after I have washed my hair. My hair always has less frizz and is a lot more manageable. Also if you use this with heat, what ever style I found my hair (curl or straighten) stays in that style for longer. Next is a nail polish, Barry M nail paint Hi-shine Gelly in Aci Smoothie. I always paint my nail at least one- two times a week or three depending on what brand I use. This shade is a really pretty mid toned pink/purple that is perfect for the spring and summer months. Barry M nail polishes are super cheap but have amazing chip resistance, they usually last most of the week (well, until I want to change the colour that is) and if I paint my nails with this nail polish before I go on holiday they usually hold up great. One highlighter that has featured in a few of my posts since getting it is the, Marc Jacobs Glow Stick highlighter. It has a creamy formula that is super easy to blend and doesn’t move your makeup that is under it. I have used it religiously as it has the most natural glow, your skin really looks like it’s glistening. YSL Touche Éclat Radiant Touch Highlighting Pen in shade 1 has been in my everyday makeup for the passed month. The shade I have has a more peachy undertone to it, so I have been using it for highlighting under my eyes. I find it adds radiance and because of the peachy undertones it cancels out the darkness under my eyes (a little bit) before I apply concealer. Brows are super important in today’s makeup trends and I find myself paying extra attention to them everyday, so if I want my brows to stay all day no matter what the Scottish weather throws at then, I can totally rely on the Benefit KA-BROW! It comes with a handy mini brush and the formula is easy and fast to use. When you use this, your brows are basically bullet proof. What was your April favourites?
