Charlotte Tilbury Dupe

I recently got the Beach Stick in the shade MOON BEACH by Charlotte Tilbury, I have been loving it especially the glow it gives your skin for summer. I was looking through my makeup drawer and pick up what I thought was the Charlotte Tilbury Beach Stick, but it was actually the Tanya Burr Cheek Illuminator in HOLIDAY HAPPINESS…

The first thing that is noticeably similar is the packaging, they both have a beautiful rose gold chrome finish. It does look very high end and expensive. The cap, and the twist up bit at the bottom to get more product is exactly the same!

The difference is with the formula, Charlotte Tilbury MOON BEACH (top) is a pink/peach with a golden shimmer. This formula is amazing, super creamy, acts like a powder but gives you the most beautiful dewy glow like a cream blush. It can be worn sheer or built up to a more pigmented Finish, and it smells divine! The Tanya Burr Cheek Illuminator in HOLIDAY HAPPINESS is a pink with golden shimmer. The formula is also great, creamy and pigmented. But a difference I found was it feels more like a balm and is harder to blend out seamlessly like the Beach Stick. It defiantly does give a gorgeous glow and is very easy to use. The smell is a lot more artificial than the Beach Stick, smells almost like a lipstick.

I like to apply both the Cheek Illuminator and Beach stick with my fingers, but with the Beach Stick it’s also easy to apply using a brush as well. Even though the packaging is scarily similar, the Beach Stick does feel more high quality. Now the massive difference between them is the price, the Charlotte Tilbury Beach Stick is £30 for 6.5g (steep I know) and the Tanya Burr Cheek Illuminator is £6.99 for 4g! When you consider all of the differences and similarities, the Tanya Burr Cheek Illuminator is well worth it. I would recommend trying out the Cheek Illuminator first before getting the Beach Stick, to make sure you would defiantly use it. The Charlotte Tilbury Beach Stick, if you love a dewy glow you will love this, you can also use it on your lips too, so it’s multi-tasking. For me it’s worth it because since buying it, it’s the only blush I have used. So if you are willing to pay the price defiantly give the Charlotte Tilbury Beach Stick a try.
