Everyday Makeup Favourites

Hi

Today I’m going to go through my everyday makeup favourites, now that winter has officially kicked in and where I live there has even been snow this week, I’m beginning to feel all festive. But my makeup doesn’t have the typical warm smokey eye or dark berry lips, for my everyday I have been enjoying keeping it light but hydrating because my skin has been feeling dry in the cold weather.

I’ll start with skin and lips…

As it’s so cold my skin has been feeling dry and tight so I need all the moisture I can get, so as a hydrating moisturiser I have been using the Elizavecca Milky Piggy Moisture Sparkle Cream. This makes my skin feel amazing and soft, also it makes your skin look radiant and dewy perfect for keeping your skin looking hydrated during a cold winters day. Strangely I have been going for a matte lip but always using a lip balm underneath. The NYX soft matte lip cream in Athens has been my choice lately, it’s a pinky brown shade that is just slightly more pink than my lips, looks natural and lasts for a long time.

For my base I have been using the Mac BB cream in fair, this has a dewy finish and sheer coverage which is exactly what I’m looking for, for everyday makeup and also it has SPF 50 which is super important. The Benefit watt’s up highlighter is my favourite highlighter of all time, give a gorgeous champagne glow that just looks stunning! To keep my makeup from moving all day long I use the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting spray to fix my makeup in place, it really does keep it in place.

For bronzer and a little bit of contouring I love to use the Benefit Hoola bronzer, it’s just that perfect mixture of cool and warm tones. It’s great for bronzing up my pale face and perfect for contouring lightly for everyday. The Nars Blush intensity duo in FRENZY, the blush shade has been my go to for about a week or two now. It looks so natural and healthy on your cheeks but sheer. To top the blush I use the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick in ROSE this adds glow and add to my highlight, kind of like a blush topper.

As I mentioned I haven’t been going for the cranberry and warm brown smokey eye, I have been doing a more natural eye look. I have been loving the Too Faced natural eyes palette because of the perfect everyday shades, the shade HONEY POT  is just one of the best golds that has literally been in my lids everyday.

Eyebrows are always important to frame your face so I have been constantly going to my Benefit Goof Proof eyebrow pencil, this makes it so easy to fill in your eyebrows they still look natural and not too drawn in. I use the Benefit High Brow to highlight the arch of my brow and inner corner of my eyes. Mascara right now I love the Max Factor voluptuous false lash effect this makes my lashes look big and keeps them curled and looking full all day.
