Favourite Blushes

Hi

Before I fell in love with blush, I was just a bronzer and highlighter kinda girl. But now I use blush basically every day and it’s turned into a must, it adds a flush of colour that looks youthful and healthy, blush can even add to your highlight or help structure your cheekbones, so, here are my top blushes…

You will probably notice by the end of this post I like peachy toned blushes, on me, they look more natural and a fail-safe for any makeup look. My favourite blush of all time is the Glossier Cloud Paint in the shade Beam, a peachy/coral. This makes blush super easy and hard to get wrong, a tiny amount blended into the cheeks gives a gorgeous natural glow, that almost looks like you’ve been in the sun. A cream blush that adds to your highlight and makes you glow is the Charlotte Tilbury Beach Stick in the shade Moon Beach. A peachy coral with golden sparkle, I love this for events or when I want something a bit extra for my makeup. Even though there are sparkles in this blush it still looks natural and not overly glittery. Incredibly blendable and smells delicious too! A blush that I have used for years now is Mac’s Melba blush, at one point this was the only blush I owned because it went with every look. Still one of my favourites, it’s a matte blush that’s pigmented just enough so you can build your desired effect, also stays on all day. Lastly Bobbi Brown Illuminating Bronzer in the shade Antigua. This bronzer has a pink undertone, so, for me, it works perfectly as a blush. This adds a healthy flush without looking too pink, I love this for every day as a blush/bronzer.
