February Favourites 2017

We’re on the third month of this year already! This year is probably going to fly by. So since February is over I’m going to share with you my favourites from the past month.

I’ll start with my new favourite concealer for blemishes…

The Nars Soft Matte complete concealer in the shade CHANTILLY, is my new must have for covering any blemishes. When I first got this I expected it to be hard to blend and basically like some drugstore cream concealers. oh boy I was so wrong! This is super creamy and bendable not to mention the coverage and pigmentation is amazing and can hide any blemish (even sore red spots)I have used this for my under eye concealer and it works really well and feels light on my skin. I have also been loving the Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray. Since Christmas I have used it everyday without fail and just ran out, I got a new one today.  when you use it after you’ve finished doing your makeup, it makes highlighter so shiny and blinding. Also it stops your face from looking powdery and of course makes your makeup last all day long. I even find it helps with controlling my oily T-zone.

I have recently done a review on the Mac Extra Skin Dimensions in the shade SOFT FROST. I think this is one of the most beautiful highlighters I have ever used. It is very icy but has a gorgeous violet shift. I have been wearing this most days over another highlighter. In certain lights the violet shift catches your eye, it looks really cool and pretty. The Nars Duo- Intensity Blush in the shade FRENZY has been my go-to blush of almost all of this month. It is very sheer when dry and you can’t go over board with this blush, which I personally like so I can build my desired intensity. But I especially love when I use it with some Mac Fix+. I put some of the blush on my brush (Real Techniques Contour brush) then spray some Fix+, it looks super natural and more like a sheer liquid blush. Also this highlighter is so pigmented and blinding. LOVE this blush duo so much!

Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming is my favourite perfume, possibly of all time (well until I find another amazing perfume) It’s just my ideal scent floral with a bit of sweetness. Light and perfect for the day time. Not to mention the stunning packaging.

I use face masks all the time, like almost every night. Not sure if it’s okay to do that, but my skin feels nice and soft. Any way, the Pixi Glow Mud Mask is so good. Easy to apply straight from the tube and 15 minuets later ( for me more like 30 minuets) my skin is super soft, my pores look smaller and my face has a nice glow. Sometimes I even use this on just one blemish, and in about 15-30 minuets the blemish is a lot smaller and less red. I was on the hunt for a drugstore brown eyeliner, I picked up the Rimmel Exaggerate water proof eye definer. It is very creamy and once set doesn’t budge, but before it sets you have about 20 seconds to smudge it out if your want to. It even comes with a mini sharpener on the end of the tiny sponge, at the other end of the pencil.

Last but not least is Barry M Nail Paint in Frosted Cupcakes, in the shade MARSHMALLOW. This is a pretty light grey almost white with little silver specks through it. It just takes two coats and it’s opaque. The first time I used it I didn’t have time to use topcoat, it lasted 3 days before chipping! I think that’s amazing good for a £3.99 nail polish. I love this shade as it goes with everything and it lasts.
