January Favourites 2018

Hi

The first month of 2018 is almost over! you know what that means, a monthly favourites post. This month I have new favourites, made up of products I was kindly given at Christmas and some I got in the sales, so, here are the five products I’ve loved this month…

I don’t really change up my hair care or styling products that often, once I find something I love, I usually stick to it. I prefer a sleek straight look for my hair every day, so, the Schwarzkopf got2b heat-activated straightening spray has made its way into my daily routine. I love the smell and this stops my hair from flicking out at the ends of second-day hair. I don’t know if it works for 4 days cause I wash my hair every three days, but for those three days, my hair stays straight! I also gave the RCMA No-color Powder a go, I was maybe persuaded by youtube to get it but I’m glad I did. My pores look smaller and my skin looks super smooth, less creasing and stops oils. This powder has changed my makeup, it doesn’t claim to control oil but I find my face less oily when using it, there’s no flashback and best of all you get heaps of product for the price. My must-have brow product is the Eyeko Brow Gel, I like fluffy, natural brows for every day and this brow gel is perfect for that. Gives the brows a tint and holds them in place all day. My brows look fuller and thicker when using this gel. I stopped using a setting spray, I guess because it was an extra step in the mornings when I was trying to rush out the door. But, I must say it makes such a difference, it stops your makeup from looking cakey, makes it last and probably best of all makes highlighter look amazing! I got a travel size of the Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray, and I have been using it every single day, worth the extra step. Saving the best til last, Ofra Cosmetics Glazed Donut highlighter is the best, blinding, glossy highlighter I have tried. It is extremely pigmented, I was totally shocked by how pigmented it was, a little definitely goes a long way. It can be built up from a natural highlight to intense. Highlight pulls a makeup look together and can make you look healthy and radient, so, if you love highlighter you need this in your life!
