I can’t believe 2016 is almost over, this year honestly went by in a flash. That’s Beauty Kirstin has hit it’s two year anniversary!. A lot has definitely changed in those two years and my passion for my blog has grown enormously. I just want to say thank you to all my readers and wish you all an amazing 2017! Now on with todays post, which going to be a review on the Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick in the shade ROSE MATTER.
First off, Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick cruelty free and vegan, paraben free and gluten free which is a great bonus and a great thing to keep in mind. The packaging of these liquid lipsticks are to die for! bold but sleek with there bright pink box and small chubby tube with bright pink and rose gold details. I adore the packaging, they look great on any dressing table and when you have to reapply. The formula I was also impressed by, liquid texture when first applied. Almost felt velvety and light in texture. Within seconds the liquid lipstick dried to a matte finish, but my lips didn’t feel dry and I forget I even had it on. They are super long wearing even when you are eating and take a bit of scrubbing to get off at the end of the day (once you apply theres no going back!). They are also crazy pigmented and one application is all you need. Also they have a scent almost minty, I personally like minty smelling products for lips but some people might not (it’s not strong but noticeable). I got the shade ROSE MATTER which is a petal pink shade. it’s a muted bright pink with a warm undertone which makes it more wearable. This shade is a gorgeous shade for the summer but I have been wearing it a lot during this winter festive period. A tip would be to scrub your lips before you apply, drink with a straw. Also on the back of the packaging it says to avoid oily food.
overall I really love the formula and how comfortable it was to wear. I’m totally going to be purchasing another shade soon. If you are looking to try out a new liquid lipstick I would give the Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick a try.
