June was a great month, I achieved one thing on my bucket list and went to London, I cut all my hair! So yeah June was good and already half the year has gone, what? I know, I can’t believe it either. So today I want to share my favourites from this pass month.
I finally found a great replacement for Benefit Gimme Brow…
The Maybelline Brow Precise has been the only thing I have been using on my brows, ever since I bought it. It makes your brows look fuller and fills in the little gaps, saving me time in the mornings when doing my makeup. Another Maybelline favourite this month is the Falsies Push Up Angle mascara. I am in love with this mascara it lengthens, curls and defines and ticks all the boxes for my perfect mascara. Also an added bonus is that it doesn’t flake off throughout the day and keeps my lashes curled until I take it off. I have very oily skin, but I tend not to wear primer everyday but recently I have been using the Benefit Porefessional primer. It makes my large pores disappear and stops my makeup from melting off my face at the end of the day, by keeping the oils at bay and I have been using this pretty much everyday.
The Nars Soft Matte Complete Concealer has been a dream come true for covering my blemishes. As I mentioned I have oily skin this concealer stays in place and kept my blemishes covered even with my oily skin. It’s soft enough for under my eyes and was the only concealer I took to London with me. My everyday eyeshadow always tends to be gold, I have blue eyes so gold and bronze shades makes them stand out. The Charlotte Tilbury Golden Goddess eyeshadow palette has been my go-to, I love to do a day time smokey eye and this is perfect for this. All four shades are stunning and super pigmented. If I’m doing a minimal makeup look but I still want a little something, the Mac Extra Dimension highlighter in Soft Frost has been my highlighter of choice. With a subtle violet/purple duo-chrome it’s stunning. I like how in certain lights you can see the gorgeous violet colour, not to mention the highlighter is pigmented and blinding.
Since I got my hair cut (like almost 10 inches!) I’m still trying to figure out how to style it. When I had longer hair I could just put it in a pony tail on the third day, but now I can’t I have been relying on dry shampoo. My must have is Colab Dry Shampoo in the fruity scent. This honestly has no white residue and your hair instantly feels refreshed and clean. Also you can breath after spraying it, as I find with other dry shampoos I have to run out the room after spraying it, cause I literarily can’t stand the over powdering smell. But with this one I don’t need to as it doesn’t have an over powering smell and leaves my hair feeling brand new. Last but not least is the Real Techniques Buffing brush, this used to be my must have makeup brush for foundation and concealer, but then I started to use sponges a lot more so basically forgot about it. But this month I have been using it everyday and loving how airbrushed it makes my skin look and how effortlessly it blends out foundation and concealer.
