May Favourites 2018

Hi, Today I have my top five favourites from May. I have no idea where the time has gone, it feels like yesterday I was thinking about my 2017 favourites! Let’s kick things off with my go-to hair product of the month, Mane ‘n Tail Hair Strengthener leave-in conditioner. Not like your usual leave-in conditioner, I always expect a leave-in conditioner to be creamy in texture like a moisturizer for my hair. The Mane ‘n Tail Hair Strengthener has a water like consistency, but is so amazing! it adds shine, tames frizz, prevents breakage, protects against heat and contains no alcohol. I apply this when my hair is wet to prevent frizz and also after I have styled my hair to add shine and leave my hair super soft.

Bumble and bumble Prêt-à-powder is a must have for greasy hair and for adding texture. I apply this to my roots when my hair is greasy, it instantly adds volume. I also love using it to add texture to my hair especially when it too soft to style.

My favourite drugstore concealer is the Makeup Revolution Conceal and Define, this matches high-end concealers for coverage and staying power! I find myself reaching for it if I have a breakout or I need extra coverage for my dark circles. This doesn’t crease on me and lasts all day, it even works great as an eyeshadow primer.

Glossier’s Cloud paint in the shade Beam is one of my favourite blush shades ever and the Cloud Paint formula is also one of my favourites. I tried the shade Dusk and I love it, I use it higher up on the cheekbone to define and almost contour my cheeks. I haven’t stopped wearing it since I got it.

Finally, the new Charlotte Tilbury Exaggereyes palette is my new fav for eyeshadows. The shades are soft and define the eye with beautiful rose gold and mauve shades. This palette works for every eye colour and the Pop shade is a gorgeous foil/glitter finish that I can’t stop wearing.
