Today I have a review for one of the Nars Dual-Intensity Blush in the shade FRENZY. I have been looking at the Nars Dual-Intensity blushes for a while now and decied on Saturday I would pick one up.
First off I really like the packaging it’s sleek and compact and has an almost rubber texture to it. Also when you open up the blush duo have a stunning pattern. Also it comes with a small mirror.
In the duo I got FRENZY there is a golden highlight with a slight pink to it and a coral/orange blush. The formula can be used wet or dry, on the back of the box it claims:” Apply dry for sheer colour or with a dampened brush for high-impact finish.”When applied dry the formula is very smooth( I used Mac fix+), I did have to build the colour but when used dry they are supposed to be sheer. The highlighter gives a beautiful golden glow, it’s not in your face pow! kinda glow but more toned down and wearable. The highlighter does have glitter and it is still slightly visible when applied. The blush is a gorgeous coral with fine gold shimmer, this is a perfect summer colour. When applied dry it is sheer but can be built. This really gives a healthy glow and looks natural. As you can see the swatch with a damp brush is a lot more vibrant . The highlight stands out alot more but still gives a more toned down glow, but it does look a lot more golden and metallic. It is still very smooth to swatch. The blush when used damp turns a very bright coral that looks amazing and is very pigmented. Also still very smooth to apply, although I did find that I have to swatch the blush a few times to get the full impact.
Over all I love this blush duo, pigmented and can be used two different ways that areboth equally as good. I would recommend these to any one who is looking for a new blush and highlight. The only down side I have to say is the price as it cost me £30.
