Nars Soft Matte Complete Concealer

I have been loving the new Nars Soft Matte Complete Concealer. I haven’t tried the Radiant Creamy concealer from Nars (because I love the Urban Decay’s Naked Skin concealer so much) but I thought this one was worth a try, as I have nothing like it in my makeup collection. This concealer has become my daily go-to and here’s why…

(I got shade light 1 CHANTILLY)

The concealer is in a sleek small pot with the usual Nars aesthetic. It feels like a high end product. The concealer claims “Natural look. High coverage. Soft-focus smoothing complex blurs, conceals, and smooths imperfections.” As you can tell this is a basically what everyone wants in a concealer, and usually it’s hard to come by. It also claims have “Collagen-boosting peptides and hyaluronic acid reduce the appearances of wrinkles and pores by helping plump the look of skin.” And is also oil-free. To me that sounds incredible for a concealer and basically my dream. I have to say the formula has a beautiful velvet texture that blend seamlessly into the skin, it really looks like second skin. It covers blemishes like a dream and dark circles simply disappear. I have very oily skin and this stays put all day long and keeps my blemishes hidden away. I have used this under my eyes and it holds up pretty well. Does crease slightly, but not a lot. I have even used this to prime my eye lids and it stopped my eyeshadow from creasing, and my lids getting oily.

I think this concealer is an AMAZING concealer, lives up to the high claims and covers blemishes like a dream, even with my super oily skin. Looks natural and skin also looks visibly healthy and fresh, almost like nothing is there.

I’m a lover of the Radiant Creamy concealer so I knew I wanted to give this one a go! It sounds wonderful, do you have any other suggestions in terms of concealer that will cover up breakouts that really lasts all day?
