Real Techniques Miracle Sculpting Sponge

I love and use my Real Techniques Miracle Complexion sponge basically single everyday, it makes foundation fast and looks airbrushed. I was in superdrugs and spotted the new Real Techniques Miracle Sculpting Sponge, it has such an unusual shape and is so different from the other sponge I had to give it a try.

First off it’s bright pink, and feels very soft even without being damp. You can use this sponge damp or dry like the Miracle Complexion Sponge. This sponge has so many different sides you can use. It has a large rounded side for blending,  large tip for under eyes or blending, large flat edge for contour, small rounded side for blended in smaller areas, small tip for blending small areas and finally a small flat edge to apply highlighter or blending under eye concealer. what it claims: ” Designed to help create shadows or highlight your  favorite facial features.use damp for a dewy glow or dry for a full coverage finish.” I also mentions ” ideal for powders, creams, and liquids”.

I have used this sponge damp and dry, I really prefer damp for blending in concealer and fondation as I feel it has more of a natural skin like finish. I used it dry but I found with foundation and concealer using it dry, it was a bit harder to blend in but using it dry with powders it worked really well especially the small end for contour. I really like using the  large flat side for blending in foundation and the small flat side for blending in concealer. The sponge was really soft even when dry and slight expanded when dampened and got even softer. overall I am loving this sponge lately it is an unusal shape to use at first but once you get used to it this sponge becomes a great multi-tasker that I’m sure I will continue to use.
