Recent Favourites

Hi, It’s finally feeling more like spring/summer in Scotland (for now anyway) which has prompted me to write a recent favourites post. As I’ve said before I don’t do monthly favourites anymore because I was struggling to come up with new favourites that I had tried or didn’t have any new ones. But, today I have favourites that I’ve used constantly over the past couple of months…

Alessandra Steinherr X Primark, Plump & Glow serum-in-cream moisturiser, has been my go-to daytime moisturiser for at least a couple of months now. It’s lightweight and sinks into the skin, leaving it super soft and prep to apply makeup. This only costing £5! I feel this is just as good as more expensive moisturisers and it didn’t make me break out either. The packaging is super sleek and aesthetically pleasing and the bottle has a plump making easy to use and easy to get the last remaining product out.

Makeup Revolution’s Conceal & Define Full Coverage Concealer is my must-have concealer. Every time I use a different concealer I always go back to it. It has full coverage and doesn’t cake up or crease during the day. Best of all the normal size is only £4 and the SuperSize, which is the one I buy is only £7!

I’m ghostly pale and finding a bronzer that doesn’t look unnatural is hard. Milk Makeups Matte Bronzer in the shade Baked is a must have for me. It’s a beautiful, creamy bronzer that blends into the skin seamlessly, it’s buildable and best of all looks natural. It comes in two shades Baked or Sun Kissed.

Another Milk product that’s become a favourite is their Luminous Blurr Stick. Even though I have oily skin I still love a dewy finish to my makeup. The Luminous Blurr stick is perfect for that. It stops me from looking super oily at the end of the day but, still allows some natural oil to peek through, leaving me with a dewy, natural finish to my makeup.

I feel like it won’t be a spring recent favourites without some highlighter. Doll Beauty highlighter duo is my go-to right now. The lighter shade Shine Bright is perfect for that wet look on the skin and I also use the shade Like a Diamond where I put bronzer to add to a luminous, dewy golden glow.
