Review: Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray

Hi

Today’s post is on the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray, this is one of those products that blogs and YouTube makes you want to buy. I have heard mixed reviews and really wanted to try it. So I went for the travel version, so if I don’t like it I didn’t spend £21 instead only £9.

I have oily/combination skin (more dry patches in the winter ) as always find myself reapplying powder, to me it makes me look a bit cakey. But I love using Mac fix+ my skin looks dewy while the powder is still mattifying my face. But Mac fix+ isn’t a Setting spray, so I decided that I needed to try the Urban Decay Setting spray. The packing is the same as the large spray, a white box with purple and the spray itself is also white and purple with a purple lid on top( there is also an extra clear plastic lid inside the purple one which is great for traveling). It comes with 30 ml of product and is oil free, paraben free and has temperature control technology which means whether it’s raining buckets or blazing hot your makeup will stay intact. On the back of the box it claims “stop makeup meltdown with this groundbreaking tested formula. ALL NIGHTER mists on weightlessly to keep your makeup looking gorgeously just-applied for up to 16hours-without melting, cracking, fading or settling into fine lines. The result? Smoother-looking skin and vibrant makeup that lasts ALL DAY.”

It claims to basically do miracles! Everything I would want in a setting spray, my first impression were that the spray is very fine and sinks into the skin quickly. The first time I used it, it really made my makeup look better, my highlighter was more vibrant and my face looked less cakey and more like skin. I had my makeup on from 7:00 AM to around 8:00PM .Usually by that time the makeup on my T-zone has melted away, but when I used a wipe it was still there! I was actually shocked cause that basically never happens for me. I was impressed that it lasted so long. Also it really helps with the rain as I was caught in the rain and my highlighter was still blinding!

Overall I was impressed it made my makeup look like skin, more vibrant and last all day. I would and I am going to buy the larger spray as I’m already used most of the smaller one. If you are looking for a good setting spray that will make your makeup last literally all day, give this a try. Keep in mind it’s not a mattifying spray but it does help with oiliness a bit by keeping your powder on for longer.
