Skincare Must-Haves

Hi

I’m a huge skincare addict and really take care of my skin, I have battled with bad acne for years. So, because of this, I have tried so many face masks, acne treatments, serums, you name it I’ve probably tried it. But, I have my trusted products I go back to time and time again, after trailing something new I go back to these products because I know they work and do what they say on the tin, without going on for too long here are my skincare must-haves…

I can not tell you how many times I have repurchased the Pixi Glow Tonic, ever since I started using it my skin has been smoother, I have less bumps under my skin and as the name suggests my skin always looks healthy and glowing after using it. I use this at night and if I feel my skin needs a pick me up I use it in the morning. I always wear SPF when using this as it increases skin sensitivity to the sun. Totally recommend this for all skin types! In the Mornings I like to go in with a soothing and refreshing toner, I love the Mario Badescu Facial Spray with aloe, cucumber and green tea. It’s very refreshing and hydrating, so I also love using this after the pixi Glow Tonic. My favourite face mask and go-to is the Formula 10.0.6 Deep Down Detox mud mask. I can always see a difference in my skin straight away when using this mask! any redness is reduced and after a couple of days of using it blemishes will pretty much be gone.

Even though my skin is oily I like to keep it hydrated, as I find it produces less oil. My moisturiser of choice is the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream. It has a whipped texture so it feels light on the skin, only a tiny amount is needed and you get a good amount of product so it will take ages to get through. It is also very hydrating and sinks into the skin quickly. Sometimes with moisturisers I get small bumps under my skin (I’m not really sure why) but with this I don’t. With a good night sleep being a rare thing these days my under eye circles seem to be getting more noticeably. My saviour is The Ordinary Caffeine solution 5% + EGCG. It has a lovely cooling sensation and after applying it twice a day for a couple of days my dark circles are almost gone, it’s like magic! A sercet weapon for blemishes that need to disappear fast is the Mario Badescu Drying Lotion. I apply this on any blemishes that have appeared at night and in the morning the redness and the size of the blemish has reduced dramatically.
