Too Faced Melted Liquid Lipstick

Hi

I’m really into liquid lipsticks at the moment, if they are matte they last for a long time and aren’t usually as drying as a matte lipstick. Today I’m reviewing the Too Faced Melted liquified long wear lipstick in the shade MELTED FROSTING, instead of being a matte it has a cream finish. I thought I would give this a try as it would be more hydrating for my lips in the freezing cold weather.

Too Faced are definitely up there with some of my favourite makeup brands, there packaging is always on point and the Melted Liquid Lipsticks are no exception. The packing is super cute! Perfect shape and size to pop into your bag, also the colour of the tube matches the shade inside. You get 0.40 FL.OZ and this will last you a looong time because a little definitely goes a long way.

The applicator for this is a fuzzy sponge tip but is claimed to be “Innovative, angled velvet tip allows for precise application.” Its definitely more of a fuzzy tip than a velvet one and also with a pink colour like MELTED FROSTING it is easy to apply the product without worrying if it bleeds cause you can’t see it, but if you buy a darker shade I would say use a brush to outline your lips first to prevent bleeding. It does have a scent but not strong, smells like sweet vanilla frosting (it’s sooo yummy!) you almost want to lick it off your lips, it really does smell like cake frosting. The liquid lipstick is very pigmented and only one application is needed to get a bold colour, but if you want a more wearable look I sometimes just put a tiny bit on my finger and tap it on to my lips, creates a more sheer finish. It lasts a long time but does come off when eating, so you will need to reapply at some point during the day. The finish has a slight sheen to it almost like a mix between a satin and creme sheen finish.

Overall is really love this liquid lipstick, it lasts and not to mention the delicious smell. Unfortunately I only have MELTED FROSTING but I’m going to be purchasing some more and possibly try the Melted Chocolate ones too ( I bet they smell amazing ).
