I love the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette, its the perfect spring/summer eyeshadow palette. not to mention the rose gold shadows that I’m obessed with.Although this is an amazing palette and totally worth the price, it is a bit of a penny to buy. Dont worry i have found a very cheap drugstore palette that is crazy how similar they are.
First off I know the packaging is way off, but that’s okay. The Naked 3 has a metal packaging engraved with the palette name and the MUA Elysium palette is plastic with a clear lid and name of the palette printed on it.
The first colour in the naked 3 palette is strange a matte pale pink (the bottom shade) this is pretty comparable to the Elysium palette’s air also a matte pale pink (top shade). Strange is more pigment and slightly less chalky that air, but not by much.
The eyeshadow dust in the naked 3 palette light pink with lots of glitter (bottom shade) and this is similar to cherub from the Elysium palette light pink with glitter(top shade). I actually preferred the Elysium palette’s cherub as I found it had less fall out and was more pigmented.
The shadow limit from the Urban Decay palette (bottom) is a light matte mauve shade that, the shadow from the Elysium palette called charm us lost the same it’s also a light matte mauve. Limit is more pigmented that charm and also limit is creamer.
Nooner from the Urban Decay palette is a dark matte mauve (bottom) the shade refine from the Elysium palette is almost the same except nooner is more pigmented and less powdery.
Lair from the Urban Decay palette (bottom) a medium brown with metallic mauve shimmer, entrance from the Elysium palette is identical! The shadow entrance is even a little bit creamer. Both very pigmented.
The shade factory from the Urban Decay naked 3 palette (bottom!) is a pink/brown satin eyeshadow with a pearl shimmer. The shade Grace from the Elysium palette is also a pink/brown with a pearl finish but is a lot creamer and has more shimmer.
Burn out from the naked 3 palette (bottom)is a rose/peach with a pearl finish, it is very pigmented. The shade seraphic from the Elysium palette is also a rose/peach but with a metallic shimmer finish, also very pigmented and buttery to swatch.
Truck from the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette (bottom) is a medium copper with a gold shimmer and metallic finish, this is very pigmented and one of my favourite shades. Seraphic from the Elysium palette is a copper with a metallic finish, trick has more shimmer to it but they are both pigmented and basically the same!
Last is the shade black heart from the Urban Decay naked 3 palette (bottom) is a black satin with red micro glitter, this is a pigmented shade and is comparable to the Elysium palette’s adore shade, adore has a metallic finish instead of micro glitter but is still pigmented and swatches beautifully.
Is you don’t have the money to splurge out on the naked 3 palette, go for the MUA Elysium palette. It has incredibly similar shades and most of all amazing quality.
