Happy Valentine’s day! Today I wanted to share the makeup I would wear going out on a date or going out with my friends. I love dewy skin any day of the year but on valentine’s day, I want to keep my skin fresh and glowing, so, here are my top picks for glowing makeup on Valentine’s day…
I’ve been obsessed with the Glossier Haloscope! It has a dewy glow that looks so pretty. It’s not too natural that it doesn’t show up on your skin, there is a definite glossy look. I apply this on the tops of my cheekbones, bridge of the nose and inner corner of the eye. The Tarte Tartelette In Bloom palette is my go-to for effortless smokey eyes, this palette is full of gorgeous mauve shades that complement any eye colour and really makes them stand out, which is exactly what you want on valentine’s day. I apply the shades Sweetheart in the crease and Funny Girl all over the lid with some winged liner, for a simple glam look.
Lashes make such a difference, when I want length and volume my must-have is the Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir mascara. No false lashes needed! this mascara is ideal for making your lashes look full and long, helping to open up your eyes. This can be built up to make your lashes look amazing!
A pretty blush that helps your cheeks glow is a must, the Charlotte Tilbury Beach Stick in MoonBeach is a super glowing peachy blush that applies like a cream to give a more natural and seamless finish. It has tiny sparkles so it will add some glow without being too much.
To add some much-needed warmth to my pale complexion I love using the Fenty Beauty Match Stix in the shade Almond. This adds a natural sunkissed bronze to my skin and blends seamlessly. This is a great way to add colour to your face, without looking like you have loads of makeup on.
Finally a perfect glossy lip, my favourite nude gloss is Tanya Burr Cosmetics lip gloss in the shade Lunch Date. It’s a your-lips-but-better shade that you really can’t go wrong with as it’s pretty much perfect for any occasion.
