Valentine’s Day Makeup

Hi, Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, if you’re like me you will probably spend a cosy night in watching Netflix. However, their’s always something about Valentine’s Day that makes me want to wear pink and girly makeup, even if it is just for a trip to the shops. When I think of Valentine’s Day makeup I think light, fresh and pink/rosy.

To achieve a perfectly flushed look I love Glossier’s Cloud Paint in the shade Puff. It blends seamlessly into your cheeks and looks super healthy and fresh.

For a base for the eyeshadows, I love using cream-like products because they intensify the eyeshadows. Fenty Beauty’s Matchstix in the shade Sinamon is a really pretty rose bronze that can be used on its own or under shadows. I like to blend this on my lid and on my bottom lash line before I apply eyeshadow.

Charlotte Tilbury’s Exagger-eyes palette is a beautiful romantic pink tone palette. Easy to wear and with the pop of amazing foil like glitter, you can go from day-to-night almost instantly.

Glossier’s Lash Slick is my favourite mascara of all time! no clumping at all and it lengthens the lashes, I also love how I can easily take it off at night, but because it’s water resistant it keeps my lashes curled and no flaking off during the day.

For a pink tint to the lips, I love Glossier’s (can you tell how much I LOVE Glossier) Generation G in the shade Like. The comfortable matte formula stays on throughout the day without being drying on the lips, it feels more like a balm. The pretty pink tint can also be built up.
