What I Got For Christmas 2016

The big day has finally been, I hope you all had an amazing Christmas. So today I thought I would share a few things that I revived. My Christmas day was a bit hectic and busy as usual but in the end all worth it. I always get down hearted when it’s over because it’s my favourite time of the year, but we have New Years Eve to look forward to. so here’s what I got…

I’ll start with something sweet from lush…

I got the Lush bath bomb Father Christmas, basically it’s Snow Fairy in bath bomb form. When I see Snow Fairy come out I know it’s close to Christmas (I hate that it’s only out this time of year!), it’s one of my favourite lush products ever! So I’m saving this bath bomb until I’m in desperate need of a Snow Fairy fix.

One of my favourite makeup gifts this year was the Too Faced Bon Bon palette. It’s so pretty and girly, looks great on my vanity and smells delicious (not as chocolatey as the chocolate palette, more like sweets) can’t wait to do more looks with this gorgeous palette.

Some other makeup that I go this year was the Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray. I love this so much it really does make your makeup last all day and look better. Also from Urban Decay I got the Heavy Metals Liner in MIDNIGHT COWBOY. This is a really pretty gold glitter liner, on Christmas day I wore this on my lid and it looked extra festive and sparkly. I got a few complements when I wore it. The last makeup product I’m going to show you is the Benefit They’re Real mascara. Can you believe I have never actually bought a full size one, I just always used a miniature from a set. But so far I think it’s a good mascara (only used it twice so far) so a review will be coming soon.

I’m a big fan of the Zoella products especially the makeup bags. This year I got the Candy Clutch, this one is amazing for traveling as it literally doubles in size and fits a lot of stuff inside. But you can also only use half the bag if your only going on an overnight (lets be honest even an overnight the bag will still be bursting full) Also the colours are pretty and girly.

It’s became a Christmas Tradition in my house that the girls of the family always get the Soap&Glory Smooth body butter. Me and my mum love this so much, the smell is just yummy. Not to mention it makes your skin feel nice and soft.

One of the cutest and most needed thing I got was this Call Me Frank 2017 calendar. Its the perfect size to put next to my desk, so I can keep on track with my blog posts and important things I need to do. Also the images at the top of every month are really cute and fit perfectly at my desk.

This year I was very lucky to receive two amazing smelling perfumes. The first one was Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming, the smell is just gorgeous thats the only way I can describe it. if I was to make a perfume it would be this one. It is like the original Miss Dior but has a sweeter and more floral smell, I would say this one is better suited to younger people and the Miss Dior is more “grown up”. The bottle is just stunning and with a hint of pink and the beautiful sliver bow, looks great on any dressing table.

The second perfume I got was Channel Chance, this also smells amazing and I find that through out the day this one smells better and better. The bottle is simple, sleek and timeless what you would expect from Channel. That’s what I got for Christmas 2016, this year has flew by so fast I honestly can’t believe Christmas is over. We are now looking forward to 2017 which seem surreal. Hope you all had a great Christmas this year,  please comment below what your favourite gift was this year or favourite Christmas gift you have ever received.
