What I got For My Birthday

Yesterday was my birthday, I had a lovely time with my family and of course probably ate to much rubbish (the most delicious chocolate cake that I stuffed my face with…hahaha…), well you only get one birthday a year. I love what I got for my birthday blog posts and youtube videos, so today I thought I would share with you some of the things I go for my birthday.

I don’t know if you can tell, but I got a new camera and lens for my birthday! I am so, so happy with it. I got the Nikon D3200 and the 50mm 1.8g lens. I think I still need some practice, but I can’t wait to experiment more with blog photos.

Also, I got Mon Guerlain EAU DE PARFUM. I am in love with this perfume! it is literally my perfect scent. I am the worst at describing perfume, so I looked on the Guerlain website and the ingredients are ” CARLA LAVENDER, SAMBAC JASMINE, ALBUM SANDALWOOD,VANILLA TAHITENSIS”  I wore it yesterday on my birthday and got a few compliments on it.

The Real technques Bold Metals Collection brushes are beautiful. Every time I see someone use them or use them in a blog post, I die inside at how perfect they look. Let me tell you they are so soft and luxurious on the skin. I got the 100 ARCHED POWDER and 300 TAPERED BLUSH. The Arched Powder brush is perfect for bronzer, powder, I used it for a soft contour/bronze and it’s perfect. The Tapered Blush brush is great for blush, highlight and contour. But they are also very photogenic.

As you have probably learnt from previous posts of mine, I really like Tanya Burr Cosmetics. So I was delighted when I got one of her new Illuminating Powders in CHAMPAGNE SORBET. This is absolutly gorgeous, very smooth and gives your cheeks a healthy, dewy glow. I’m definitely going to try the other two Illuminating powders.
