Spring is finally here…well it’s still raining and grey in Scotland(no surprise there!) the makeup I wear most days roughly stays the same. As Spring is here I’ve changed up a few things.
I don’t use a primer everyday, well to be honest I really never use a primer useless I’m going out somewhere. I start off using lush skin tint in feeling younger, I have fallen love with this product it’s basically the vegans Mac strobe cream. This makes your skin glow now I mean seriously glow! I then have been using the lush skin tint in Jackie oates, I mix this in with my moisturiser or the feeling younger skin tint. My most loved concealer right now is Rimmel wake me up concealer it has a thin dewy finish and wakes up the under eyes. Lastly for my face I use Rimmel stay matte powder in translucent in the T-zone and under the eyes.
Next in my makeup bag is Benefit’s hoola bronzer, I use this on my hair line, my jawline and slightly on the nose. It’s a perfect cool tone bronzer especially for pale skin like mine so it’s not too orange. At the moment the Topshop everything stick in philanderer has been my obsession as the formula is so creamy and has a natural finish, also great on the lips. Benefit’s high beam highlighter is an old favourite of mine gives that beautiful glow that picks up any makeup look, I have a sample size which is great so I can fit more in my makeup bag😉
Eyebrow products seem to be my favourite to buy as I have so many, but the product I love the most out of all is the soap&glory archery. It has a super fine brush tip that makes the brows look natural as the tint can be build for a more full on brow, I just like to keep it natural. It does have a penci end but it’s a bit hard and not pigment. I then just use any brow gel I can find!
I’ve been keeping my eyeshadow quite minimalist so the naked basics palette is the best for me. I also take naked 2 in my crease and even use it for my eyebrows sometimes. Too faced better than sex mascara is just amazing and makes the eyes look more awake and lashes look incredible, a must in my everyday look.
For lips I’ve been keeping it pink and using Maybelline colour sensational lipstick in 150 stellar pink. It’s a pearlescent mauve pink that’s a bite darker than my lip colour but still looks like a ‘your lips but better’ but with a bit more because the look I usually go for is so natural and minimal.
