I have collected a few new eyeshadows for my Z Palette from the last time I posted a What’s In My Z Palette post. Mostly Makeup Geek eyeshadows because they are amazing quality but so inexpensive. Here’s what’s in my palette…
I have seven eyeshadows from makeup geek and two pressed glitters from Glitter Queens Emporium. I love the idea of a Z Palette, if you only like a few shades from an eyeshadow palette you can dupe them from Makeup Geek and make your own palette, so you don’t have shades you won’t use. Makeup Geek eyeshadows are extremely pigmented, buttery and blend beautifully. The pressed glitters I use for events like weddings or parties to add an extra sparkle. Pressed glitters are amazing because there’s a lot less fall out and it’s super easy to use.
(swatches from left-right)
Golden Rose pressed glitter– a rose gold fine glitter
Coronation pressed glitter– Yellow gold fine glitter
Peacock– a deep teal matte shadow, this one is slightly patchy but can be built up to a bold finish with a buttery texture. Love this one for smokey eyes.
Rebel– a dusty purple with gold shimmer, very pigmented with gold shimmer evenly throughout the shadow, also buttery and smooth to apply. I apply this all over the lid and blend into the crease.
Phantom– white shadow with violet reflects, this is a really cool duo-chrome shadow that is pigmented and smooth to apply. This is amazing to use as an inner corner highlight and brow bone highlight. Looks really cool when it hits the light adding something extra to a neutral eye look or smokey eye.
Starry Eyed– a foil finish light champagne with a pink undertone, this is so beautiful on it’s own, for a halo eye or highlight. Super pigmented, creamy and blends like a dream, I can’t wait to get more of these foil shadows!
Homecoming – a medium brown with gold shimmer, this is my perfect every day shade and a great dupe for Urban Decays Naked palette shade Sidecare. Also pigmented and easy to blend.
Cocoa Bear– a matte red/brown, this is the perfect warm brown crease shade that perfects any look you use it with. Very pigmented and blends super easy.
Creme Brulee– a medium sand with a matte finish, I usually use this as a transition shade or just on it’s own. Perfect for starting off any eye look and goes really well with Cocoa bear. Same as the rest super pigemtned, smooth and easy to blend.
