Winter Self-care Favourites

Hi, in the winter my skin is dry! Even though my T-zone stays oily I still find my skin gets flaky (that’s a pleasant image…anyway)  but it’s not just my face that gets dry, my hair and lips also tend to get drier in the cold months. So, today I wanted to share my favourite products to keep your skin, hair etc happy and hydrated in the winter months.

As I’ve mentioned I have oily skin but oily skin doesn’t necessarily mean your skin is hydrated. So I love to use a super hydrating moisturiser. My go-to is FAB’s Ultra Repair Cream, after using this my skin always feels fresh and hydrated. I use it on my face every day but you can also use this on your body too.

I don’t know what I look forward to more, Christmas or Lush’s Snow Fairy coming back out! As soon as I saw it was back in Lush I had to get it! I love, love, love the body conditioner very hydrating and of course smells amazing too with a layer of sparkle, what more could you ask for? (does anyone else after Snow Fairy is gone treat their remaining supply like gold dust, I definitely do, lol)

A mask is an ideal way to give your face it’s needed supply of hydration, Garnier Moisture Bomb Tissue Mask is perfect. I find my skin always feels plump after using it and a good couple of days afterwards my skin still feels hydrated. In the winter I try to use a hydrating face mask around once a week if I have time, it really does make a huge difference.

my must-have lip balm has to be glossier’s Balm Dotcom, if I’m looking for a little tint to my lips the cherry flavour is my pick. But, my favourite flavour is the Birthday cake one. To give my hair a little love I use a mask when I’m in the shower, afterwards, I love to use Ouai’s Finishing Crème. Once I’ve straightened or curled my hair I apply a little of this through my hair, it adds shine and hydrates the ends of hair without feeling heavy or sticky.

Your blog is so pretty! I love the Garnier mask and I need to get FAB’s Ultra Repair Cream because I’ve tried so many moisturisers that just didn’t work. Great post btw 🙂
