Zoeva Cocoa Blend Palette Review

I have been lusting over this palette for well over a year, and I finally got my hands on it. I don’t know if it’s just me because now that the best of the summer weather is almost gone I start thinking about Fall. The Zoeva Cocoa Blends palette has the perfect shades for Fall with warm Browns and golds . I have heard good reviews on the palette so I was so excited to try it out.

First off the packaging is stunningly beautiful, it is a chocolate brown I guess? with a metallic gold pattern on it. Looks really high end and different to all my other eyeshadow palettes.

The one thing I did notice is there is no mirror inside the palette, which is always good to have if your travelling. The palette includes ten shades ranging from matte warm browns to shimmer/metallic purples and of coarse a warm tone gold. The shadows themself are very good quality and pigmented for the price, blend-able and last all day.

(from top to bottom )

Bitter Start- light beige/cream with a matte finish, smooth texture and pigmented

Sweeter End- light peach with lots of gold shimmer also very smooth in texture and pigmented

Warm Notes-  a rich cranberry with a metallic finish, super pigmented and smooth in texture

Subtle Blend- medium bronze with warm undertones and a pearl shimmer finish, also very pigmented and smooth

Beans are White- very deep brown with a matte finish, smooth but not as pigmented as the rest ( just took a few swatches to get a good colour payoff)

Pure Ganache- a medium warm toned gold with a metallic finish, really smooth and amazing pigmented

Substitute for Love- a medium orange/brown with warm undertones, it has gold shimmer though it but when applied to the eye and swatched it looks matte, buttery texture and pigmented

Freshly Toasted- medium reddish brown with warm undertones and a matte finish, very blendable and pigmented

Infusion- deep black/brown with a satin finish and gold shimmer though it, easy to blend and pigmented (shimmer stays on the lid once applied)

Delicate Acidity- a taupe brown that almost looks like a plum shade with a pearl shimmer finish, more cool-toned than the rest of the palette, very pigmented and smooth

Overall this palette is beautiful and fantastic for the price, it is perfect for Fall and any one who loves warm toned eyeshadows, can’t wait to do Fall makeup looks with this palette. Price £18.
